The Jane Moore Academy of Ballet is dedicated to providing its students with access to experienced, professional, and highly qualified teachers who are deeply committed to training and nurturing young dancers. Our academy wholeheartedly supports and encourages students as they strive to achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential in the world of dance.

About The Academy

The Jane Moore Academy of Ballet was established in 1987 and has earned an enviable industry reputation for teaching excellence, with students from the Academy regularly competing in State, National and International Competitions, winning Scholarships and receiving offers to many of the world's most prestigious Ballet Schools and Performing Arts Schools.

Academy students participate in RAD Examinations, State, National & International Competitions, and the annual Jane Moore Academy of Ballet Junior & Senior Concerts.

Jane studied under the late Kathleen Gorham, one of Australia’s greatest ballerinas; Martin Rubenstein of the Borovansky Company RAD Major Examiner; Tina Stuart, current RAD Examiner; and Eileen Tasker, also of the Borovansky Company.

A qualified RAD Teacher with a registered RAD Teaching Certificate and over 40 years of teaching experience, Jane also taught with Ms Gorham at the National Ballet School.

Established in 1987, the Academy has earned an enviable industry reputation, with students regularly auditioning and being accepted into prestigious schools and companies worldwide.

Jane is passionate about ballet and endeavours to inspire her students to respect its beauty and precision. The purpose-built studio has fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams. Still, her ambition is for her students, many of whom she hopes to see dance and perform professionally.

The ongoing achievements of The Jane Moore Academy students suggest that Jane’s aspirations for her students will continue to be realised for years to come.
